This picture was taken at the bottom of the stairs, looking in the opposite direction from where the "bear" was taken. As you can see, there is nothing there that can account for this unusual anomaly. The red between the white rails are tablecloths sticking out that were on the tables. You can see by this picture that the height this odd phenomena would have to have been.
